The view from the top 7th floor was spectacular.The buses and trams stopped right - The hotel was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help and went out of their way on several occasions . It suited us location wise as we stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday before sailing from the marina opposite.   The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.
