  The staff and calamari and the pool. Staff were very concerned and helped rectified an incorrect booking when they found it was incorrect on arrival. - The breakfasts were very nice. The Kona Kai Polynesian restaurant was also a nice option. Room was comfortable.

  Tony and his family were exceptionally kind and helpful. We stayed there the night before and the night after our cruise which left from Athens. Great place to stay if you have a little one. We were traveling with our 13 month old daughter. The pack'n'play they provided was nice and large, unlike our experience at a hotel in Paris where it was so ... vad folk säger » small she couldn't lay down flat. This pack'n'play was much longer than the typical one in the us. I think it was almost as long as a crib. Our daught - - Location- we walked everywhere, including Acropolis, Plaka district, Flea markets, etc. Everything is walking distance and if needed, metro is nearby. - Owner, Tony, was very welcoming, cheerful, and took a lot of pride in his hotel. You can tell he put a lot of detail into it. - In a neighborhood, so you get the "non-touristy" feel.. even though all the touristy stuff is within walking distance. - Very accessible from the airport. The view from the top 7th floor was spectacular.The buses and trams stopped right - The hotel was excellent. The staff could not do enough to help and went out of their way on several occasions . It suited us location wise as we stayed one night at the beginning of our holiday before sailing from the marina opposite.   The Acropolis Hill Hotel was ideally situated; easy to find from Syngrou- Fix Metro Station and a pleasant walk to and from historic sites in and around the Acropolis, and the Plaka and Monastiraki areas (and the information centre which is also well worth a visit for free maps, guides and advice). Service was friendly and welcoming, accommodation... vad folk säger » was clean and fresh, the beds extremely comfortable, and the views from the fifth floor roof top terrace were stunning (particularly early evening as - After the initial hitch of being told there was no room available (one was found when we said this wasn't acceptable) we were delighted with the hotel. Only a few mins walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Rooms on the front of the hotel have Acropolis view. About 10 mins walk to the old-town area of Plaka. Nice swimming pool. Lovely modern decor throughout and great breakfast. Lovely.
