  Near the airport, large and very well appointed room, we booked a seaview room and thought it well worth it, superlative breakfast includingan orange squeezing machine and Cretan specialites with a notice sayingwhat they were.   This is the very best hotel! We toured Crete for 11 days and wished we had stayed here for more than 1 night. We plan to return and will definitely book this hotel again because it is in the best location directly across from the port, very easy access to all the attractions in the area, easy parking, best bedding with Coco Mat bedding incredibly ... vad folk säger » comfortable and now buying a bed like they have here.   The best about this hotel is its location. It is situated in the city center and the main landmarks- the port, the Archeological museum and the bus stop are easily accessible alike with the main shopping streets. There is a computer with Internet connection near reception that you can use free of charge. The staff are very helpful and, if in doubt... vad folk säger » , you can ask them for directions. If the purpose of your trip is tourism, I would strongly recommend Irini. Overall, excellent value for money. - Convenient location to city sights, port and airport. Parking and breakfast option (good value) are also pluses even though I did not use them for this stay. The price, while on the high side, is ok, considering that accommodation in Heraklion is expensive compared to other places in Crete.

Totally friendly, and slightly quirky sense of humour. The hotel itself is a perfectly preserved type of 1960s business hotel architecture, and has been barely changed since the 1980s (dot matrix receipt printer!). This is a good thing, I hope any renovations keep the excellent staircases and mosaic floors.

  Rent och tyst fast det var mitt istan. - Everything about the hotel was good to excellent but the front desk staff, Irini and Toula were outstanding.
