  Athinais Hotel is perfect. Great location in a nice area. The room and bathroom are very clean. Some rooms have a balcony, some others have a nice view on Licavitos.The staff is friendly. Breakfast starts at 6.30, that is usefull if you have to travel early. Free wi fi in the room.   I was amazed by how comfortable to hotel was! The hydro massage bath was a real surprise for me and my bfand one of the reasons why we didn't want to leave the room.   The Central Hotel is very well situated in Athens in the Plaka, with a view of the Acropolis from our room, but also within a few short blocks of the main Athens shopping districts. It is about 2 blocks away from major public transportation (which is worth trying as the subways have become museums in their own right due to excavation finds in rec... vad folk säger » ent years). Strolling through the plaka and vendor stalls, you will find yourself next to the ancient agora on one side and rows of tony restaurants - Location: The location is great, just a few blocks from the Syntagma Square and in walking distance to the main attractions. We took x95 from the airport but it stopped pretty far from the square and we walked about 1.5km with 4 luggages! I would recommend taking a metro or ask hotel to book a transfer: €40 one way. Staff: very friendly and helpful. We flew to Santorini after check-out and we could stored the luggages at the hotel for 2 days. Clean. It has free wifi and a roof top bar with a go

  Allt. - The hotels is quiet, clean and with a fantastic breakfast. One of us was sick and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. We extended our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. As for the comments about the neighbourhood, except for one street between the museum and the polytechical school it was just fine. But the room was big and clean. On the opposite side of the street is Polytechnic School so we had no "neighbours" looking through our window. Instead o lot of free parking space (in greek meaning ofc). Many police officers 24/7 in the area. Safe and quiet place.

  The hotel is located in a very quiet area, on top of a little hill, just four blocks from the Sygrou-Fix metro station and the stop of tramway going both to the city centre and the beach. We required a crib for our baby & we arrived fairly late in the evening, but they made sure to have the baby's cot ready in just 30 minutes. They were very helpful in calling for a cab when we required one as well as helping find restaurants near by. The breakfast was wonderful & the woman who serves it was very nice. The view of the Acropolis from the dining deck was absolutely amazing & really made the hotel worth every penny!

Room cleaning was possibly the best I've experienced, brilliant white sheets and we never had a knock for room cleaning, our room was always prepared whilst we were away.
