The location was excellent, as were the facilities at the hotel, even though we didn't get to use them. Athinais Hotel is perfect. Great location in a nice area. The room and bathroom are very clean. Some rooms have a balcony, some others have a nice view on Licavitos.The staff is friendly. Breakfast starts at 6.30, that is usefull if you have to travel early. Free wi fi in the room. We often stay in Athinais Hotel and we recommend it. -

Staff were very polite and spoke English and the attached cafe
/bar open from 8.00 am till 11..00 was a bonus. The area was very

Location is one of the best in Athens for visiting everything
Staff is very nice and helpful, 24h/day. They even help to store our luggage even when we return from the islands and we had a day full left before the return flight in the evening

The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around. The staff are friendly and helpful; we were able to leave some luggage in their care while we travelled to a couple of islands. Our double room had a balcony with a stunning Acropolis view. We arrived really late after an evening flight and were really happy
that this hotel was so easy to find - even in the dark! Only a couple
of minutes from Monasteraki underground station in the plaka area
which is lively on a night and feels pretty safe : ) the room was

All the staffs are so nice and helpful. Very comfortable and clean room.Good location in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk to the metro, the eymos (main street),the acropolis and the bus stop for X95 to the airport. Easy to find and safe surrounds. I've booked a simple room. Good price.
