  The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around. The staff are friendly and helpful; we were able to leave some luggage in their care while we travelled to a couple of islands. Our double room had a balcony with a stunning Acropolis view.   The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. A big plus was the super-friendly restaurant right across the street, where I could get a half carafe of wine to take to the h... vad folk säger » otel's roof patio and have a drink while looking out at the acropolis. - The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  Det låg bra till, cntralt med lungt läge - Great facilities for the price, great location, and friendly staff! I was thankful for the air conditioner, cable tv, and great breakfast! - It was close to the train station, clean, had what I needed.   Fast free wireless Internet in rooms and common areas. Lockers more than a meter high, large enough for a suitcase and rucksack. Spotlessly clean. Various breakfasts available on a pay as you go basis. Greek breakfast of a large dish of yoghurt with muesli and honey, bread, jam. Juice and hot drink for only 4€. The staff are pleasant, speak English well and are very helpful.
