The Cecil was in a great location, views etc. - We like the hotel because we have stayed their before and have alwaysfound it so convenient to everything we need in athens.

  Central and safe location (Plaka). All main sights and museums were within walking distance. Loads of restaurants offering good Greek food at competitive prices. View of the Akropolis from our room and roof of the hotel, the latter is also used to serve breakfast. The rooms were not very big but very clean and air conditioned, the beds were very comfortab - It is a small boutique hotel that is conveniently located between Syntagma and Monastiraki square. It is right along the same street where the airport shuttle drops you off (walk along the street away from the Parliament about 3 blocks). I stayed here for a total of 4 nights with a break of 1 night when I went to Delphi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I got a full orientation spill and city map when I checked in and my rooms looked like showrooms in an Ikea catalogue. They also let

  Det låg bra till, cntralt med lungt läge - Great facilities for the price, great location, and friendly staff! I was thankful for the air conditioner, cable tv, and great breakfast! - It was close to the train station, clean, had what I needed. I liked that they gave me a discount as I was travelling on my own and staying in a double room.

  We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great service, personal approach. We felt at home there. The room had a retro style to it which reminded me my childhood home. I loved it. Actually, there is free wireless almost everywhere you go in Athens. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed. Every day we would - The staff at Acropolis were fantastic...very helpful and friendly. The location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom for getting
