  Recommended: this hotel looks renovated fresh and pleasant. Bed had a good mattress - firm but not too firm. Bathroom is equipped with a modern spacious shower providing a good bath experience. Towels are large and feel good. The staff seems to be all young very pleasant and happy to help workers. Located just 2 minutes walk from an ar - We stayed here for one night when we arrived very early in the morning after getting in from Heathrow. The flight arrived at 3.10am and we didn't get to the hotel until at least 4am. However, on our arrival the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They let us sleep in past check out time and in the morning were able to give us useful directions to the metro. The rooms were clean and modern. We would recommend this place and definitely go back.

  This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The hotel has been renovated in the meantime, but its essence remained unchanged – the cosy, relaxed atmosphere which makes you feel very welcome - Very friendly staff. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis

  Quiet and clean at an afordable price - The room was clean enough, and the AC was excellent which is good since the outside temperature is always above 26º. The drinks in the mini bar were also 'just' expensive and not 'extremely expensive' as usual.

  We have been impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of staff members. We also got free upgrade of our room to suite which was nice. Our 15 month old daughter, in particular, really appreciated the space provided. - Great location - very central. Room was large, very comfortable and well euipped. Staff were friendly and efficient.

  The hotel itself is very good. The best points are as follows: 1. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. 2. Clean and comfortable rooms with great bathrooms. 3. Great roof terrace with a view of the Acropolis and a small bar that stays open until midnight. 4. The girl from the reception even made a phonecall for us to see where we could pickup our boat tickets. We had to leave very early but we could still get some breakfast. Eventhough the bread was not fresh, I found the gesture to be able to get some breakfast at 5 am very nice! I would definately recommend this hotel, not for its fac
