  The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around.   did not expect such clean and nice hotel for the rate I had to pay. I had a room at the back of the hotel so no noise from the streets. Neighborhood is not the best in Athens but not a huge problem. - situation and relative calm. Decoration of the rooms.

  The Acropolis Hill Hotel was ideally situated; easy to find from Syngrou- Fix Metro Station and a pleasant walk to and from historic sites in and around the Acropolis, and the Plaka and Monastiraki areas (and the information centre which is also well worth a visit for free maps, guides and advice). Only a few mins walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Rooms on the front of the hotel have Acropolis view. About 10 mins walk to the old-town area of Plaka. Nice swimming pool. Lovely modern decor throughout and great breakfast. Lovely.
