This is a fabulous hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights with my daughter, prior to going on to Santorini. Excellent location - do not be put off by the fact it is in a suburb of Athens - it is an extremely 'good' suburb with fabulous restaurants and shops and only a short car ride into the centre - we hired a driver from 'Georges Taxis' for the four

everything was perfect! very professional staff, very polite & helpful. Very clean rooms with all what ou need in the bathroom! Well done! very well situated, very nice area. Very nice living room and outside place of the hotel to have breakfast and/or any drink during all day. Very good!

Access to interesting locations, accomodating staff and a great complimentary breakfast on the eighth floor roof top was the best. The Athens Gate is within blocks of the Acopolis, Plaka and across the street from Hadrian's Gate. A perfect choice.

The hotel is within 10-15 minutes walking distance of Omonia Metro in an area that feels safe because there are always people around. The staff are friendly and helpful; we were able to leave some luggage in their care while we travelled to a couple of islands. Our double room had a balcony with a stunning Acropolis view. After the initial hitch of being told there was no room available (one was found when we said this wasn't acceptable) we were delighted with the hotel. Only a few mins walk to the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Rooms on the front of the hotel have Acropolis view. About 10 mins walk to the old-town area of Plaka. Nice swimming pool. Lovely modern decor throughout and great breakfast. Lovely.
