  The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. The hotel has wisely refrained from filling all its ground with accommodation and provides a calm oasis in which to re... vad folk säger » lax. We made good use of the tiny whitewashed traffic free streets (well apart from the occasional motorbike or mule train) that we accessed from the - Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  We absolutely loved Hotel Galini! First of all the location is perfect - it's in Firostefani, which is 10 minutes walk from Fira. From the hotel to Fira, there's a nice walking path just by the caldera with an amazing view! Staying in Firostefani, you're super close to Fira if you want to go out; but at the same time you're out of all tourist hust... vad folk säger » le. Rooms are clean and super comfortable, in every corner there's a nice detail in the decoration which makes you smile :) Breakfasts are really nic - The hotel is very well located in Firostefani, next to a small square which is the pick up point for taxis and tour buses (very important here as from some other hotels you have to climb up with your luggage). Very clean, all white (Santorini style). And the view - the famous caldera view is outstanding. Very easy communication with the owners and staff, perfect English is spoken here.   The location of Oia's Sunset was ideal, if not perfect. Oia doesn't have street names and numbers but it was not difficult to find at all and if one arrives by bus from the port/Fira, the stop to get off is the last stop. The room we were allocated was just as requested, I asked for a higher floor with a view and though the view was not unobstruct... vad folk säger » ed by other buildings we could see the sunrise from one of the windows in the morning! (It was lovely). The staff were very helpful and they did our l - Recently travelled to Santorini and stayed at Oias Sunset. It exceeded all my expectations. The staff were amazing. Friendly and welcoming. Always there to help. Location was prime and rooms were very clean. Pool area was great, close to the bar, where you could order your drinks and Panos or Stavros would serve them. The Hospitality from these two men really make Oias Sunset the best place to stay. I would hands down go back to Oia and stay at this hotel. It's very affordable. Budget friendly
