Good large air conditioned apartment in a quiet location. Superb, quiet pine tree backed beach just a few feet away from the hotel. Very helpful staff who organised a taxi at 5am to take us to the airport to catch our flight back to Athens. -

We stayed in Filippion hotel before going to Thasos island and were very happy about the hotel. It is very cosy and is very close to the ferry to Thasos island and there are quite a few nice tavernas around. The hotel owner is very nice and was really helpful and flexible with our needs. -

We really enjoyed the view (all the rooms have sea view) and the fact that is a very quiet place.
Also, by being in the same group with another hotel that is near the beach you get a wider set of advantages (two pools, private beach, two restaurants and two bars). -

people. Helped us a lot with their recommendations.
*We stayed at the rooms in the building at the front, which is the one closer to the pool and the road. The rooms in our building were excellent. It was super clean, spacious and very comfortable. Everything was thought through.

Very nice hotel,comfort rooms and balcony,clean and new. Very nice pool,there is near local, average beach, but with clean,nice water. But one of the best beaches on Thassos - La Scala is only 10 min walk or one minute by car from the hotel.The owners were amazingly polite and friendly.The city of Limenas is only 5 min away by car,but far to walk.I would def recomend this hotel for visitors!

Regards to the lovely host (hope she is reading this), we had a lot of questions often, but she was so helpful and kind always! We had a lovely time in this hotel, it was clean, tidy and safe. It is a 5 minutes walk from the very center. The pool is lovely, not that we used it, because of the beautiful Thassos beaches, but if somebody is intereste

Everyrthing was nice. Starting with the personnel! We stay in a very nice room,with sea view,every day they make the room clean,in my opinion this is a hotel for 3 stars,not only for two.Good placement in the old harbour,near to all the facilities of the city.Congratulations to the staff and ,if we will back in Thassos,this is the place that we will choose to stay.

Staff were brilliant. As the hotel was not full we got upgraded to a 2 bed apartment so that we had a sea view (not what we booked) which shows the level of care given at the hotel. Cocktail happy hour has probably the cheapest cocktails on the isalnd and some of the best too. The Samaras cocktail is great - the double Samaras is even better!

We really spent an excellent time in Vournelis Hotel which is excellent located, we enjoyed a lot our time in Thasos and for sure next year we'll come again to Vournelis Hotel for our holidays. Bogdan Radulescu

This is a basic, Balkan style guest house. Room was good size with a large balcony. Double bed was two singles pushed together. Good reading light for both beds. Shower on a pad, no paper can go down the toilet, etc. but the place is clean, quiet at night, not far from beaches, and the breakfasts are fine. For budget travellers experienced

Katerina, the woman working at the hotel, was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just a bit outside of the main town which makes it very quiet. The town is a short walk away.
