  Our recent stay at Hotel Alexander was absolutely great. The staff was wonderful and helpfpul. We had room 11 which was a corner room and was just beautiful, relaxing and comforting. The breakfast was yummy and the selection of items just right. Good temperature at the room (big battery with real distinctions in rate and power, that give an opportunity to dry overcoats when it was raining).   The breakfast cost about 7 euro and was a very large spread. There was something for everyone. Cereal, yogurts, beans, smoked salmon, cheeses, meats and even real scrambled eggs. Upon arrival there is coffee, teas, fruits and water available for free. They have a nice little bar with Soccer on and beer on tap. (3 euro ish for a Pils, vom fass). Breakfast buffet had many options both American and German choices. Rooms were clean and premium cable channels were included in the price. Was very close to Clay Kaserne where I conducted my business. And once again beat customer service I've had in a long time. 24 hour access to their cappuccino machine was very nice. Very quiet and had plenty of in sight parking. Grocery store in close proximity.

  Location was good, very close to the train station. Had to check out at 5 30 am and receptionist was nice enough to wake up beforehand. Nice large room on the 2nd floor at the back with 2 large windows. Could not sample the breakfast as I had to leave early. The street has many small food places to choose from. - Very good locations
