My wife and I stayed in the Hotel- Gästehaus Maria Theresia for 3 nights and we'll definitely return. This is a family owned hotel - the Schutz's who are the most welcoming people that gave us many useful tips, There are many hiking trails of all levels and you can start your hiking from the hotel. The breakfast is amazing and the place is kept clean and neat. We are already missing it. Family Schultz are warm, accommodating people. The hotel is an older building, but has updated bathrooms and warm, comfortable rooms, most with balconies. The decor is old Bavarian and very interesting to peruse. Breakfast was luxurious and varied. The hotel is not close to Lake Schliersee, but is a short drive away.
