First I must say that the lady owner is an exceptional person and entrepreneurs. I cut my finger at breakfast on our last day and she leaped into action cleaning the wound and bandaging it. I was so grateful for her help that I wanted to hug her but was not sure this would be culturally acceptable. Her son Daniel came to get us at the train statio

This Hotel is comfortable and very welcoming, the owners are very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was cosy and relaxing.
The evening menu was small but very good quality, the sandwich's we were presented with were very large and very tasty. A lovely place to stay for a few nights, it's quiet were it is situated provides easy access to nearby towns, a very enjoyable stay. The wine was good too.

Location fabulous. Close to all amenities of train, ferry or car travel and onsite restaurant/wine garden.
Hosts were great. Went out of their way to make our stay a good experience. Attended with promptness to my husbands Celiac disease and supplied the breakfeast with gluten free products. So thoughtful and truly appreciated. -

we were able to still to get there due to the city providing cat walks.
The owner gave us great directions to get around the floods.
