We needed to stay for an appointment at Landstuhl. The hotel is conveniently located minutes from both Ramstein and Landstuhl. We stayed in a family sized room and were very pleased. The room was very big and easily fit our family of six. The outside/ backyard area is great for kids. There is a large yard to run in as well as a very big, multiple story play house for the kids to play in. Also, the daily breakfast is great with both German and American foods served.

What charming and welcoming staff! Our rooms were spacious and very clean and accomodating. Our daughter's room even had a small efficiency kitchen! We did not need that, but what a nice feature. Breakfast was delicious! Many many choices. If one went hungry, it was his own fault. We found more than enough to please us and the small children who were traveling with us. Also nicely located in the Kaiserslautern/Ramstein area, close to all US facilities. We stayed in one of the apartments in order to have a little more room for us and our 3 kids. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. I have a baby and one of the staff let me borrow a little baby bath for me to use. The service is great, and the location is close to the Military Base, which is why primarily chose this location. I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were super nice and friendly. The rooms were excellent and my husband loved the beds! He said he almost never wanted to get out of the bed. The breakfast was so good! They have the section where you can eat out in the covered area and it was so pretty. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The Internet had great download speeds. The family-run hotel makes you feel like you are a member of their family. The hot breakfast was excellent. The value is extraordinary. Great variety for breakfast. English-speaking staff very friendly and helpful. They had all my reservation information at check-in, quick. Cable with a variety of English language channels. Staff and breakfast were very good. The room was bigger than many we have had in Europe and 2 adults and 2 young children were comfortable and well accommodated. The room was very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed, also had several English channels, which is a rare find in German hotels. the hotel was neat and clean, the delicious breakfast was included, the neighborhood very walkable with bus transportation at the front door. staff speak excellent English very family-friendly with a playground outside and a play area in the breakfast room. The good will if the staff to help with everything we needed. Service was beyond expectations. I stayed in family unit so Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. Really good hotel with nice size rooms. Very good breakfast included. Pleasant stay. I wanted a place off the beaten track to spend the night. Hotel Garni was just that. good size room and shower breakfast spot on. Friendly, economical, comfortable,... good hotel nice breakfast. Family-friendly, lots of space, great parking. We would have had difficulty cooking in the kitchenette area if we had planned to. It only had a two burner hot plate to cook on. Also, the shower only had a curtain around it without any divider on the floor of the bathroom. Consequently, the entire bathroom floor got soaked anytime anyone showered. I did not like the way the restroom was laid out. The shower was next to the toilet, and when we showered, the whole floor got wet because there are no doors to separate the shower, only a curtain. Otherwise, everything was great. Nothing. The village of Rodenbach is a little quiet, but I found some decent restaurants nearby such as Trattoria di Marco with outstanding food that is just around the corner. Bathroom in the first room we had was small. We decided to stay a 2nd night and were given an apartment for the same price, which was super and big. Problem was a number of lights were burned out or missing. Also, the bath water temp was almost impossible to regulate to a comfortable temp. The shower head was broke, and didn't get fixed after reporting it, still able to shower, just a little inconvenience. the beds were a little too firm. the packet of shampoo was not enough for two people/showers. Nothing. You should have private car to access to hotel. To have a meal in the evening is very restricted. bed was a bit creaky. Cobwebs inside, cigarette butts outside, flyswatter on the dining table, dog hair on couches, etc.
