  Easy walking distance to central station or indeed right to city centre (half an hour or so) if you like a stroll. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room - no street noise that we heard. Nice little bar for a cheeky beer after a busy day. Public transport ans a few restaurants all in walking distance.   Our rooms were as clean and comfortable as any we have stayed in. Thestaff was wonderful, very accomodating. The resturant was excellent,including the service. The location was a little ways from munich butthe train was only a short walk from the hotel. Would definitely staythere again. - value for money and friendly staff

  Tystnaden - Very clean room. Larger room was assigned to us because we were visiting with two kids who is 9 and 7 years old. Our reservation was for double room with extra-bed without additional cost. But they assigned larger room to us, they are so kind.   I am extremely positively impressed by the behavior of the entire staff who checked me in and checked me out of the hotel. Furthermore, the Hotel General Manager Mr. Kayhan Kilit handling with my requests and complaint was extremely impressive and more than satifactory.   great hotel!, quiet and clean room, comfortable beds, nice and helpful crew, warm atmosphere. Pfaffenhofen is a quiet small town in the vicinity of Munich.   This is our second time staying at the Hotel an der Oper and we chose it again for its excellent location. It is located very near the Hofbrauhaus (and other eating & drinking places such as Augustiner and Hard Rock), which are all very easy to walk to. Also, it is only a 3-5 minute walk to Marienplatz (which is another good location). Most of the top sights of Munich are right nearby. The same is true of many of the best restaurants and shops. The staff was very helpful with reservations, including getting us excellent seats at a very popular performance of Rigoletto, which was right around the corner. They also selected and reserved a perfect restaurant for our first night in the city. Very nice!

  We were traveling by train so having the main train station 10 minute walk away from the hotel was convenient. Also 10 to 15 minute walk to city center. Staff very helpful. - Excellent value for the money. Excellent location.
