  The owner Joseph Zwink welcomed us at his guesthouse and was very helpful with carrying our luggage to the rooms. The rooms are spcious, very comfortable and clean. We had very interesting conversations with him and he personally attended to the breakfast which was very tasty. The gusthouse is very close to the centre of Oberammergau (5 min walk) ... vad folk säger » which makes it an excelent venue to stay. I would strongly recommend Pension Zwink to anyone going to Oberammergau. It is also conveniently close to a - Great location,very homely. Jakob ,the owner was very helpful-had excellent english and was very friendly.Warm comfy rooms. Good breakfast. Coffee,tea, soft drinks etc available in breakfast room through honesty box.Good to have parking and free wifi-with no time limit. - The owner is very helpful indeed and excellent with English. While the Pension is older, it is very well kept and the two couples of us enjoyed it and would recommend it for those wanting to save on accommodation. Parking was also very helpful. Very central to the town.

  We highly recommend this cozy guest house. The price we paid (about 75 euro per night for two adults, with a very good breakfast buffet) is a very good deal in a tourist destination such as Oberammergau. The room was clean and modern but fairly small; some people may not like that a mostly-glass door exits directly to the outside (but there are th... vad folk säger » ick curtains to provide total privacy, but most rooms do not have this arrangement). The bathroom was immaculate (as was the room), and everything was - Where to start? We liked everything about this hotel. Otto and Eva are such amazing hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Otto is a mine of information about all sorts of local attractions and the history of Oberammergau. The room was perfect with a beautiful view towards the chairlift. Breakfast was amazing. Ideal for a walking holiday, or sightseeing by car. Card for free bus travel was given to all guests and this was a great advantage. So much to see and do in the area. We will d
