  The backyard is a great place for children. There were a few amenities like slides and swings, not to mention cages that houses rabbits, chickens that will easily fascinates children! The hosts Alex and Thomas were meticulous in preparing our rooms and gave my family advises on what to do for a day trip. Prior to arrival, i mentioned via email that i wont be driving( we asked how we could come on public transpor - Our experience here was superb. The room was lovely and spacious, and felt like a home rather than a hotel. The local area was very pretty and the hosts were excellent. We could have gotten very fat eating Thomas' gourmet food - great taste and amazing presentation! Breakfast was delicious too. We had backpacks but the walk from Altglassutten-Falkau station was not bad - only 10 mins. Highly recommend a stay here.

  Absolutely recommended if you're visiting Titisee, it's 2 stations from Titisee, away from the crowd, around 1km walk from Altglashutten- Falkau railway station, cheaper than other hotels, staff was excellent, lovely bar inside, we had dinner both days and it was delicious and reasonable, room size was decent, bathroom size not bad, street outside... vad folk säger » is beautiful, tourist info office bang opposite to the hotel, spik and clean nice little property for those who want to save some money on accommodat - We stayed 4 nights in the family suite found it very clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings, sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view (and the bells ringing in the distance). Very generous breakfast, and lovely staff, ready to help and provide information. The restaurant offers high quality food. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend! Also -The hotel provides the Red Forest Card which saved us quite a few Euros...

  I highly recommend this small hotel which is very friendly, comfortable and well priced. It also has an excellent restaurant. The hotel is in a very quiet and beautiful area, with many places to visit nearby in the Black Forest.

  The staff is more than accomodating. And the location could not be finer. I went to hike and the trail started just behind the hotel. The views are fantastic!!! Do not wait, book this hotel now, you will not be disappointed. - Room and bathroom were big enough and clean, nice swimming pool, good breakfast.

  This was a wonderfully relaxing stay. The Family run business is cordial and very helpful in planning our excursions. We had a delicious dinner (not included with the price) the first night and a delightful breakfast each morning. There are rooms for families and for couples. There were a number of families there and we did see the spa facilit... vad folk säger » ies. - The breakfast was awesome. The schwarzwald card provided with the room is an incredibly good deal : free access among many activities, including a small ski resort and a big indoor aquatic park. The location is perfect, very calm, and the owners are very kind and helpful. And we were also lucky with the snow and the weather :-)
