  Excellent location next to the Dom, with parking available. Wifi free and working well. Fairly good breakfast. Great views from our suite. - very well positioned near the schloss and dom good bus service to town and porcellain factory

  The staff was extremely friendly in a very natural way. They even gave me a Glas of champaign when We arrived, because they saw that it was my birthday. The Meissen manufactur is 15 min away and the view over the red roofed city fantastic. The outside terrace and hotel garden with vineyard super romantic. The library felt like bein in a very nice ... vad folk säger » living room. It was an over all an extremely pleasant stay. - Hotel is new but in an old building on the top of the hill in the old town - a short walk from the castle and cathedral. The breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel in Germany and excellent value in the room rate. We also had dinner in the restaurant, local cuisine that was very refined and high quality. I would stay again.

  The half board was excellent, beautiful meals in the evening. Close to other towns for day trips. Nice and quiet if you needed a day of rest.
