The location is really easy to find. We travelled by train and it's
located about 10 to 15 minutes from Trier HBf. It is really close to the

A free drink at the bar was offered after check-in, which was a nice touch.
The location is close (5 mins walk) to the old city centre, yet easy to unload bags/check-in as there is a reserved bay in front of the hotel. Private covered parking is available a 2 min walk away (4.70 euros per night), the WiFi worked fine on my visit.

The room was an apartment, and gave us a lot of room to spread out. Close to all major attractions and bus lines. The breakfast was the best that we had in our three weeks in Germany. Our room was fabulous and very clean. It had a nice shower and a bathtub(!), plus a hair drier and magnifying mirror for makeup. The room and bath had many shelves and towel rods for laying your stuff out and staying organized. Bed very comfortable. Pay for the parking behind hotel. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Staff was really friendly, accomodating and courteous. Real "family-
feel" with the staff; The location is perfect; minutes (walking)
away from the centre with ample parking on-site. Family-room was perfect
(separate sleeping room for the children) and ample space in the rooms.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and personal service (my
daughters ate every crepe they could!). Overall, great hotel - would
definitely recommend and stay again.

We liked every aspect of normal hotel amenities found at the ante porta. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was perfectly designed for function and comfort, the bathroom answered all needs, the breakfast was sensational and the location superb. The parking was convenient and secure. I would stay at this hotel and any other just like it anywhere in the world if available.
