The staff were very helpful and friendly & spoke English. The room was dated but quite nice with a separate dressing area & comfortable beds. Staff was really friendly, accomodating and courteous. Real "family-
feel" with the staff; The location is perfect; minutes (walking)
away from the centre with ample parking on-site. Family-room was perfect
(separate sleeping room for the children) and ample space in the rooms.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and personal service (my
daughters ate every crepe they could!). Overall, great hotel - would
definitely recommend and stay again.

Good parking for cars and motorcycles with small charge
Rooms clinically clean and well laid out.
Excellent position, 200 mtrs from the old walled town with plenty of Restaurants etc.

We liked every aspect of normal hotel amenities found at the ante porta. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was perfectly designed for function and comfort, the bathroom answered all needs, the breakfast was sensational and the location superb. The parking was convenient and secure. I would stay at this hotel and any other just like it anywhere in the world if available.

We've been travelling for over three months now and this is the best hotel we've stayed in. The staff were amazing; the rooms were clean and quiet; wifi was reliable; the breakfast was a huge buffet and there was coffee to go. It was great to leave the car in the free carpark and walk the 2km across the Mosel River into Trier - an amazing historical city.
