The location was great, only 10 min walking till historical Check Point Charlie square & near to many other historical places. In Check Point Charlie you can get on “hop on hop off “tour buses if you want.
Only 5 min walking to metro station where from there you can start using Berlin great public transport metro & tram connections.

The receptionist was a bit rude to start with but later he was better. The receptionist later on the night was very nice. Even tho I didnt have the chance to visit the city, was very close to the citycentre and if I go back there, I may stay on the same hotel. Parking was 5euros per day if you buy from the hotel, but as I arrived late afternoon and left very early in the morning, i managed to find free parking 300metres from the hotel, just look around the residential areas if you dont want to

The staff and the service were very fine. I saw the gentleman behind the front desk offer to help another guest locate a place to buy some rare auto parts! Very helpful, cordial, friendly, and warm. Excellent location only 5 minutes walk to the S Bahn station, with a lift from the street directly down to the platform.
Plenty of restaurants just around the corner from the hotel, Particularly liked Tucholsky, Torstrasse 189. Be aware that they do not take credit cards.

The apartment was the perfect size for a couple with extra pull out beds for a family group. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and lots of storage. The apartment was pretty big and well equipped with everything you need for a few days. We enjoyed the BluRay Player! The restaurant is great for breakfast/dinner, with very tasty and modern cuisine. The apartment is in a good location, between PrenzlauerBerg and Mitte. The U-Bahn and StrassenBahn (BernauerStrasse) are just a few minutes walking from the apartment. Location was great being close to the underground. We were given clear instructions on how to find the apartment and directions from airport. Apartment was clean, spacious and as described on the website. Friendly staff. We had a maintenance issue and the staff dealt with it promptly. Nice apartment very close to the Bernauer Str U-Bahn Stn. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin. The menu was limited but the food excellent.

If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

Clean room, small but practical. Loads of bars/resteraunts just up the road, plus there was a market round the corner on certain dates. Serviced by two Ubahn stations a v short distance away that will get you into central Berlin easily enough. Not going to win any awards, but for the price per night exaclty what we needed
