  The location was excellent - in the same square as Bach's St Thomas Church and the Bach museum. There are many good eating places very nearby. We were there to attend a Bach concert and enjoyed the Bach music wallpaper in the room therefore.   Never thought about staying in a hostel. Not what you think. We had a beautiful, spotless, light-filled apartment with a view. The staff was young (as you would expect) and very nice. Public transportation is next to the hostel in case you want to reach outer areas of Leipzig.
