The location was great, only 10 min walking till historical Check Point Charlie square & near to many other historical places. In Check Point Charlie you can get on “hop on hop off “tour buses if you want.
Only 5 min walking to metro station where from there you can start using Berlin great public transport metro & tram connections.

The receptionist was a bit rude to start with but later he was better. The receptionist later on the night was very nice. Even tho I didnt have the chance to visit the city, was very close to the citycentre and if I go back there, I may stay on the same hotel. Parking was 5euros per day if you buy from the hotel, but as I arrived late afternoon and left very early in the morning, i managed to find free parking 300metres from the hotel, just look around the residential areas if you dont want to

Firstly, after we made our reservation, the owner of the b&b gave us a detailed instructions to get to the place which I find to be of most help. We rented the apartment and although the place was a bit cramped with the sofa bed laid out, it was a very comfortable stay. The apartment was very well equipped. If you want a clean modern room on a budget it was very good although if you are looking for a social aspect wouldn't recommend. - Good location, walking distance to Alexanderplatz, Museum Insel, etc also U-Bahn station Bernauerstrasse. Room was not overlooking street, so in a quiet position looking onto a small, albeit scruffy, garden/courtyard.

Nice apartment very close to the Bernauer Str U-Bahn Stn. These apartments are managed through the nearby Raja Jooseppi Cafe and, despite first appearances, this was in fact a lovely little cafe with very friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Berlin. The menu was limited but the food excellent.

The apartment was the perfect size for a couple with extra pull out beds for a family group. Excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities and lots of storage. The apartment was pretty big and well equipped with everything you need for a few days. We enjoyed the BluRay Player! The restaurant is great for breakfast/dinner, with very tasty and modern cuisine. The apartment is in a good location, between PrenzlauerBerg and Mitte. The U-Bahn and StrassenBahn (BernauerStrasse) are just a few minutes walking from the apartment.
