  Very service minded staff! Nice and comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Stayed during the Berlin Marathon weekend where they focused on servicing the runners that lived at their hotel (baskets of bananas etc.) and even after check out they let me use their vitality club to shower and relax before the trip back home.   Almost everything about this hotel is fantastic. Very smart rooms with ultra modern decor. Bathroom open plan with room but toilet does have sliding door for privacy. Shower is great with multiple modes and no problems with going hot or cold. Bed is comfy with separate single duvets. Duvets and pillows are down but not a problem for my feather all... vad folk säger » ergy. Spa on top floor is interesting, rather exposed so not for use by the bashful. Very pleasant and efficient reception staff. Incredibly well plac - It would be impossible to list what I loved about the Axel; I've searched to find something that could be improved, but the rooms, the location, the decor, the dedication fo the regitry staff to help in every way..are all outstanding. I had some shower problems with the hotwater, and both times, the young man at the desk came almost immediately to resolve the problem...and did so, graciously.and efficiently.
