  The location is ideal, 35 second walk to the lake edge. The hotel is very boutique and is stylishly fitted with antiques and art. The gardens are very well kept and pleasant to sit in with a coffee or a wine and gaze at the lake, alps and people passing by.   Staff was very helpful, room had a small sitting area plus a small balcony with table and 2 chairs, and all was very clean. The city of Konstanz provides free bus passes. To get them, show your passport and fill in a form with the hotel staff. Breakfast is available for an additional 8 euros per person. It had hot eggs and potatoes on the weekend,... vad folk säger » but was cold dishes only on weekdays. - We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was fantastic. It's outside of the main city area, but you get a free bus pass for the 10 minute ride downtown if you stay more than 2 nights. It's nice to be in a quieter area and right on the lake, which you don't get in the city center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

  The hotel is very clean, very close to train and bus stations. The breakfast is very well served. The staff is friendly and helpful. - They had the best buffet breakfast of any 3 star European hotel I have stayed at.

  Location was reasonably convenient for the railroad station, waterfront, and historic part of the city (we don't mind a bit of a walk). Beds were comfortable, and an extra bed was available for our teenage son at a reasonable cost. The room was small (by American standards), but adequate, and the bathroom was well-equipped and reasonably spacious.... vad folk säger » Staff were pleasant and helpful, and spoke good English (like most young Germans we me met). - Very close to the old town, there is a big parking place right next to the hotel (you can take the elevator from the parking to the hotel). The staff was helpful. All in all, if I go next time to Konstanz I would stay at this Ibis.

  We loved the location and the wonderful views from our top floor room.The staff made every effort to help us at the front desk. Diningoutdoors each evening was wonderful too and the service was flawless. - Great Location, excellent Breakfast and beautiful hotel.

  The very spacious clean rooms and the location to the city. The breakfast was exceptional. Go there hungry. Loved the plants all over the hotel - Location very convenient to bus stops. Hotel is very quiet and so ensured an excellent night's sleep. Free bus pass is included in the price.
