  Mycket bra hotell som uppfyllde alla våra önskemål - Very nice accommodations, great views of the Zugspitze and Alps. Excellent restaurant, food and staff. - Excellent staff and service, very welcoming. A great place to come back to.

  The hotel can be reached via the Zugspitzebahn, bus or taxi from the Garmisch train station. This is a lovely place, although next time we would get a room with the water view and stay longer. Scenery is spectacular, staff at the hotel the best- had a fabulous meal and evening in the restaurant our group adored the gentleman from Hungary who waite... vad folk säger » d on us and made us feel to home, the young lady working the bar was quite delightful too- exceptional hospitality! - The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, below the highest mountain in Germany. It was used by the US military at the end of WWII. In addition to the lake, there is an indoor swimming pool. We would like to return here for a family reunion as there are enough activities in the area for all ages.

  Trevlig miljö. Bra för barnen. - We had a great view of the mountains from our room and it is very close to the major ski areas. Our room, including the bathroom, was extrememly clean. I had plenty of hot water for a nice shower after skiing. There was a nice fire in the bar/lobby area with comfy couches for relaxing. Our dog enjoyed his stay as well. :) We hope to stay again. - The hostess spoke very good english and was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, as well as the view and surrounding area. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious and cooked fresh (it was the best food that I had in Germany). There was not a single thing that we did not like about this hotel. It was excellent!
