  Great room! This room was probably the best room we stayed in during our 3 week tour of Europe. Very clean. Great patio overlooking the large backyard.   This was my second time at Hotel Jagerhof and I will be back. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Beds are comfortable with fluffy, down comforters. Wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, breads, yogurt, cheese, meat, juice, and great coffee. I had a fantastic view from my balcony. Bathroom is small, but typical for Europe. Very comfortable hotel and attentiv - The hotel was very comfortable and the woman who greeted us and took care of us was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Our balcony view of the mountains was beyond spectacular, and the town of Grainau was quiet, welcoming, and relaxing. It was an amazing place, and we wish we had planned to stay longer.

  This small hotel is beautifuly located on the edge of Grainau village with stunning views of the mountans. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a small balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was excellent although we were surprised to find several dogs in the breakfast room. They were well behaved though and we soon got used to them.   The hotel can be reached via the Zugspitzebahn, bus or taxi from the Garmisch train station. This is a lovely place, although next time we would get a room with the water view and stay longer. It was used by the US military at the end of WWII. In addition to the lake, there is an indoor swimming pool.
