The flat is very, very nice and clean. It is runned by solar electricity and the view on the yard is very peaceful. Grocery store (Lidl) is on the oposite and all kind of shops and restaurants are in an area. I have enjoyed my stay here, it has a homey atmosphere which I like. The hostel is perfectly located, right in front of the door is a Lidl supermarket, a bakery and the tram that leads to the city centre.

WiFi is usable, although sometime we have to re-login 2. Kitchen: you can make tea, coffee, light meal without extra fee 3. Just cross the street is LIDL. The Italian restaurant nearby (Ciao Bella) is good, give it a try!. The helpful staff - we arrived outside of the checkin time and the staff had waited for us. He is also very helpful when we asked for information about Freiburg. 24 hour check in, clean and stylish bathroom and kitchen areas. It is located in a modern ecological building. The property is conviently located beside a tram spot. There are supermarkets nearby. I emailed staff before my arriving, explaining I will arrive out of their working time. Although they agreed to wait on me, I had to call them. This gives someone who travels on the budget an extra expenses. It seems someone is living in the apartment too because she was talking very loud on her phone early in the morning and shutting the door hard every day. Also, the internet was very bad, the connection was broken every 10 min, although you pay for it 1 euro per 24 hours. The hostel was hard to find, it is just one floor of an apartment building and we had to call the owner on her cell phone to check us in. There were not enough bathrooms to my liking. The internet connection is bad, but good enough for daily emails. No WLAN instructions available, four room was a bit small. The checkout is as usual at 11 am, still we got surprised by the cleaning staff just breaking in our room at 10 am without really knoking, asking us to get out. Not very nice of them. Toilets / shower room is not enough for this number of rooms/guests. The location. Although it is 20 mins from the city center by tram. Key box instructions unclear and difficult to find, no instructions for key on check out, bed squeaky nd noisy, bed linen smelled musty. Wifi doesn't get to some rooms. Reception opening hours are too tight (3h in the afternoon only). It's a little hard to find since there's no sign on the street. I paid 224 euro for four nights believing that I was going to cook for myself as the website then stated such. For that money I expected a mirror and washbasin in the room. The room was tiny with no proper hanging space or the above. Madam Jacoby does not allow cooking in the kitchen because it creates a mess and she told me the stove didn`t work. It did, but the gas was turned off. Every guest pays a different price. The advertised balcony has an upturned flowerpot as furniture.
