  The hotel was beautiful, the staff was helpful and the pool, whirlpool and sauna were wonderful. 15 minutes from Garmisch, but it was nice to be away from the busy area down there. The Dome was fantasic and across the street - I stayed at the hotel last month, no issues using the VAT (19% tax savings form for the US Military). This time, the acc... vad folk säger » ountant wasn't there and the front desk staffed did not have a clue. Will have to drive to the local VAT office in Stuttgart and have them work the issue. As nice as the hotel was, and it was nice, made for a poor ending.
