  We liked the authenticity of the Castle. The staff made us feel special. They were well educated on the food, wine, history of the area. Also very accommodating when it came to luggage needs. There was no language barrier, as all staff spoke english. I highly recommend this site as a "special" place to stay - Very friendly staff and always ready t... vad folk säger » o assist. Porter service to get luggage from parking to the castle is great as the person brought the bags to our rooms (tower rooms). Staff checked us in at 12(noon) and very accomodating with an infant.

  Loved the building - big rooms with comfortable old furniture looking out on attractive street with half-timbered houses and hotel bar in small garden. Glimpse of the Rhine 50 yards away. Easy to find. Smallish supermarket nearby which made it easy for us to buy food and picnic on the banks of the Rhine. Embarkation site very near for trips up and... vad folk säger » down the river. Very highly recommended. - Most helpful attitude of the proprietor, especially on arrival to find the Marktplatz closed to traffic due to a forthcoming Christmas Market. Also, as we has arrived on a Wednesday (his Ruhetag), he arranged for us to dine at a nearb hotel where we paid only for drinks - he charged the food to our account with him (we had booked a half-board arrangement with him

  This hotel was very clean. Our room was a suite on the top floor it had a beautiful bed and fun star lights in the ceiling. The view from our room was good. The hotel staff was very helpful. There was a lot of good food in our included breakfast. We were also pleased that the staff could speak English. We would highly recommend this hotel to friend... vad folk säger » s.

  It is a very nice hotel, good location next to the marketplace in Oberwesel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms clean. We loved the design of the tap in the bathroom! Very unusual, we want the same at home! When we arrived the indoor parking was not available due to flooding by the Rhine, but the staff was very helpful with finding some plac... vad folk säger » e for us on the street nearby. - The service and help from reception and the restaurant was first class. We will definitely stay here again.

  We ate at the restaurant in Hotel Restaurant Weinhaus Weiler, and it was a truly unique experience. The food was outstanding, serving perfectly executed fresh local cuisine, with great attention to detail. The hospitality was really something you don't get to see every day - I don't remember eating at a restaurant where everyone (especially the ow... vad folk säger » ners) were so kind and delightful. The prices are reasonable. Do not miss this restaurant! - Excellent gourmet restaurant. Best food we tasted in our entire trip in the Rhein valley! You should eat there even if you stay at another guest house. The owner is extremely warm friendly and does every possible effort to help with the menu and in any other ways.
