  The room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a large bathroom and toiletries provided which we found rare on our travels at similar guest houses. It even had a kitchen with a refrigerator which was convenient. It was outside of the main city, but the walk wasn't too bad to walk into the city. - This accommodation was the best. Very clean, coffee available , decent cups, glasses and a great little kitchen. Will recommend this one to everyone. Value for money.

Double window fully opens and turns room into large balcony with a fantastic view of the river and castle. - 10 minute walk from the centre but has good views of town, the river and castle. - An excellent location, with a wonderful host . . . can't wait to return one day.

  we had a wonderful stay. we requested a room with a view of the castle and - or the mosel river and they gave us both....it was truly beautiful and i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to be in cochem. - The staff were extremely friendly spoke good English and did all they could to make our stay a good one. Will be going back soon.

  Andrea and Thomas the owners were very helpful and friendly, both speak very good English and we were made very welcome on our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is modern and very clean. The house is decorated and fitted out in a traditional rustic German style. We would definitely look at bookin - We loved our stay at Altes Fahrhaus. We arrived early and the owner let us put our bags in the rooms while she cleaned. We were able to park in front. We had room 6 which had a balcony overlooking the Moselle with a view of the castle. Breakfast was very generous and our host was extremely gracious. I wish we could have stayed longer.
