  Pfefferbett is a really cool hostel that's been recently renovated. It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities. Luggage storage is handy and the buffet breakfast for €6.50 is great value and has good variety. Room with private bathroom was really nice and very clean. Fairly big secure locker included in the price, each bed has a light and electricity socket, my room had a private bathroom too even if not specified in the booking, not sure if all rooms have it.

  I think my trip to Berlin would have not been the same if I stayed somewhere else. Staying here I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing staff that was willing to help you 27/7 in any needs you had. They work there because they feel passionate about their job and creating a good experience for their guests. The hostel is probably the best one I ha... vad folk säger » ve stayed in Europe. The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathrooms were modern and cleaned every day, and the social area always had people willing - I was in a 6 bed room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom had 3 showers and the water was hot which I liked the most. The hostel was convenient to the west city center. There's a underground station next to it. The stuff were all very friendly and very helpful. They introduced the whole city to us and marked the popular places to go on the map for us, saved us lots of time. Love this....

  We lived in a very comfortable appartment (big, clean, fully equipped). It's not far from the city center (it takes 7 minutes to get to Alexander Platz on foot), there is wi-fi in the lobby, rather good breakfast, though there is not big variety you can eat a toast, some cereals and drink a cup of coffee.   The location is very handy. We've been to Berlin a number of times and with the standard of public transport, most central locations will be ideal for discovering the city - the same applies to the Generator. Loads of places you can walk to, U-Bahn just down the road and Freidrichstrasse station very nearby also. The hostel itself was clean and co... vad folk säger » mfortable. The beds were warm and cozy, though we benefited from having spare beds in our room meaning extra pillows for us. The shower is excellent, - I stayed at the dorm room this time, and it was one of the cleanest dorm with most comfy bunk bed I've ever experienced. The 6 bed female dorm was cute and funtional; each bed has its own power socket, head lamp, huge drawer. The power shower was great too. The wifi was free with great signal up to my room. I'm not a dorm-room fan, but I definately recommend this dorm for anyone who does. The location is very close to most of attraction and metro. Supermarket, McD, KFC were a little bit far

  The hostel is situated very well to tour Berlin. Trains and Underground are close by. Great staff that was very helpful and friendly at all times. The rooms were tidy, so were the bathrooms. The breakfast was of good quality and the price of 5 Euro more than adequate. Parking was available to us even without a reservation. I can only strongly reco... vad folk säger » mmend that place. I am looking forward to my next trip there. - Room was big. Showers were clean. And they were four in our level. Bar downstairs with reasonable prices. Small stores on the same block.   The staff were very friendly, they helped us upon arrival. The Place were quite and as they don't have many rooms we didn't se so many other guests. We probably got the best room, right at the toilet and reception. The hostel were close to the metrostation - Nice, clean and cozy room.   The staff is amazing! They're always happy, outgoing and ready to help the guests. The room was clean and beautiful. I would like to come back again :-) - It is well situated in the city. It is very close to a lot of concert halls and party places.

  We were only there for 6 hours- arrived late and had an early flight to catch the next day, so just needed a place to crash for the night. The place was clean and quiet though, and the staff were very helpful. - Staff was amazing. Bike rental is cheap. Breakfast is pretty decent for 5 euros.   This is a place with its own absolutely awesome atmosphere. Also you can get to the city centre and to the main sightseeing places by foot. B - I was placed in a room with three guys who didn't understand hostel etiquette and who came in at 2.30am talking and laughing as loudly as possible. After a couple of hours of putting up with this I went downstairs to ask the guy at reception if he could do anything about it. He very kindly transferred me to another room. I was so grateful to him, I don't know his name but he ensured the rest of my stay was a pleasant one. Thanks!!!

  Upon our arrival, the staff checked us in and immediately began giving us the rundown of where to go and how to get there. They gave us a detailed map and explained the subway system. They were very helpful and it was very comforting in a foreign country! They even switched rooms for us when the room we were in was a bit to loud for us due to pass... vad folk säger » ersby and traffic. The rooms were superbly clean compared to other budget places we stayed at during our travels and the breakfast was delicious! - It's just 20 min to Tegel airport. But still very close to the city center. There are couple of supermarket (like LIDL etc.) in 7 min from the hostel. Also they have double rooms in so called hotel so you don't have to live in 6-8 person room.
