We wanted to stay in a small town as a contrast to the larger cities we had been visiting - this was a great option. The breakfast was the best we'd had in our 2 weeks of travels - so many things to choose from! Excellent value. Be sure to take a walk on the trails behind the hotel - beautiful gardens and greenery, a babbling brook and very serene.

It was just great. Extremly helpful owner/chef. His family and staff were very nice. The food excellent, the breakfast just right. And the helpfulness to find a way around the Stau on the moterway was terrific. The view of the Mountains from our room high up on the mountain side was excellent. -

We were enthusiastically greeted. There was an elevator to take our bags
upstairs. The rooms (we had 2 for 3 persons) were large, airy and each
had a small terrace overlooking the bubbling water. The hotel has fresh

we should have occasion to attend musical events in Bayreuth in future
years, with a little drive involved, this would be our place of choice -
Hospitality at its best. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who also recommended the restaurant for the dinner where we had most delicious evening meal. Breakfast was very good. We would like to thank everybody at Heissinger for making our stay such a great experience. We will be definitely back again.
