  We came off a boat trip up the Rhine and found the hotel an easy 15min walk to the hotel from the landing. We found the staff most helpful as we only speak English. They directed us to a great little German pub with very good food at an excellent price. The host was a hoot!! Yet the staff was very friendly and helpful despite being very busy and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The castle next door is gorgeous!

  Apart from being a wonderful hotel, I would like to state that the staff were the most friendly, courteous, polite people I have met in a hotel in a long time.   This was a great hotel. The room was small but very clean and efficient. The bathroom too was small, but everything worked wonderfully and it is so well vented that there is no steam after showering. We liked this hotel a lot.   The hotel owner/manager could not do enough to make sure we were happy. He was extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful -- huge and exceptionally clean.   Location was good, very close to the train station. Had to check out at 5 30 am and receptionist was nice enough to wake up beforehand. Nice large room on the 2nd floor at the back with 2 large windows. Could not sample the breakfast as I had to leave early. The street has many small food places to choose from. - Very good locations
