  We came off a boat trip up the Rhine and found the hotel an easy 15min walk to the hotel from the landing. We found the staff most helpful as we only speak English. They directed us to a great little German pub with very good food at an excellent price. The host was a hoot!! Yet the staff was very friendly and helpful despite being very busy and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The castle next door is gorgeous!

  The hotel owner/manager could not do enough to make sure we were happy. He was extremely accommodating. The room was spacious and the bathroom was wonderful -- huge and exceptionally clean.   Our recent stay at Hotel Alexander was absolutely great. The staff was wonderful and helpfpul. We had room 11 which was a corner room and was just beautiful, relaxing and comforting. The breakfast was yummy and the selection of items just right.   nice and cosy, well situated. - My wife and I loved staying at this hotel. It is so charming and comfortable. Our room and the breakfast room were warmly and beautifully decorated with antiques and comfortable furnishings. Breakfast was enjoyable.
