  The Pension Ludwigshafen is the budget alternative to more expensive hotels/pensions in the city center of Ludwigshafen and Mannheim (taking into account the general lack of hotel rooms in that area, the price was okay). The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean but spartan.   Beautiful, modern rooms. Very Luxurious . Located in a nice town with a lot of history. You can hike or bike the odenwald or rock climb in the quarry nearby. Paragliders launch from the cliffs next to the old castle ruins which also have a really good restaurant.   I loved it! Clean, comfortable, Family run. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and designed thoughtfully for the traveller. A comfortable and homey lobby.
