Excellent accommodation, new, clean and comfortable. Added advantage of having a pool after a long day travelling. Excellent breakfast although we did have to pay extra for this and slightly over priced. Nice little town on the river near by for a evening meal. Would like to return and stay longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hospitality was exceptional. The caretaker went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and relaxing. Our children loved the pool and picnicing on the lawn. All in all, we were very pleased.
alla recensioner » Very nice and helpfull staff. Nice location at the castle grounds . The children liked that there was two separate beds for them instead of one big. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the region!. Great place to stay with children, impressive on approach and very clean, welcoming and value for money. Nice pool too and good breakfast. We will return!. The staff were fantastic the place was stunning and with all the land and the pool it was brilliant after a long journey with three young kids!. Beautiful location and scenery, all very new and clean, nice staff, great swimming pool, great atmosphere. Beautiful setting, our daughter loved the pool. Very relaxing, lovely setting. Duplex rooms with small kitchen, brand new, comfortable bed, very nice castle in the same property. nice owners. Reasonable and countryside nice location. solitude spacious room good shower. Being woken up by the cockerels from the farm next door very early in the morning. Think this would be less of a problem if you are staying in the hotel rooms as opposed to the apartments. The kitchen equipment could have been a bit more complete, espesially since there is no restaurant at the grounds or nearby. Nothing!. There was no fence around the swimming pool, the breakfast was poor, for our family the room was too small (so make sure you book a room that is large enough). Our room was right next to the chicken and rooster coupe. The rooster started crowing at 5:30. Not all of the accomodations would have this issue as some are further away. Going back to the room whilst the chambermaids were cleaning and found one smoking in the bathroom. Room not prepared (Had to make children beds ourselves). perfect for weddings but bit remote for travelers just looking for a stop over. The hotel is not ready for guests - the swimming pool and decor/surrounding etc currently in a state of renovation. This should have been made clear by the hotel prior to booking. Definitely currently not worth the hefty price tag!. No restaurant not organised very hard to find there might have been a castle there once but now guests stay in a converted barn.
