Situated just north of the city of Tours in the Loire Valley, La Héraudière is a charming stonework bed and breakfast. It features a 1.3-acre park with old trees and a terrace area. I initially booked this B&B because of it's secure parking on site. This was perfect for our purpose, and much more besides. Our Saint Martin room was charming, clean, well designed and very peaceful. The grounds are charming and the location is walkable in to Tours. The owners were very polite and helpful and we really couldn't fault our stay. Dominique and Virginie are the perfect hosts. They made us welcome from the first minute, and did everything they could to help us to enjoy the beautiful city of Tours. La Héraudière is a lovely house with a delightful garden, and our room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was a particular pleasure.
