The staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They fulfilled immediately each requirement I gave them. My room was great, spacious, clean not noisy, and the beds were comfortable. I experimented a very fast wi-fi connection in the whole hotel. The breakfast was satisfactory and diverse with enough choice. The location is perfectly situated in the center of Toulouse, very close to a red-line metro station and just five minutes (by foot) far from a yellow-line one. Near the hotel there are .
alla recensioner » We stayed 3 nights in a triple room on the 2nd floor overlooking the front of the hotel. The room was a good size as we could fold the 3rd bed up to the wall giving more floor space and an extra shelf. The room was very effectively sound proofed, clean, with good hanging and shelf space, desk space with chair plus a large en suite with shower. The location in the old city was excellent with restaurants nearby and easy access to transport. English spoken by reception staff. The room was very spacious for three people. I'm glad there was air conditioning. Bathrooms were very nice as well. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The lady in the front named Valentina (I hope that's correct), was really nice to us and really helped us out organizing some activities for us to do during the day. She was also very lenient about our checkout and letting us keep the iron in our room for both days. The hotel is very well-designed and sleek. My tiny room had a contemporary version of a mini-balcony and the glazing of the window/door made the street din completely disappear! The climate control was effective but almost silent. Staff were friendly and helpful, elevator was fast, breakfast amazingly varied and generous, and the location was perfect. The location of this hotel is perfect, situated very close ti the pedestrian streets with lots of different restaurants and just in front of the metro station. Dreary breakfast room with bad value breakfast and grotty coffee - this isn't a problem as there are so many bars near by. We visited in winter and found the room too warm but could not turn on the fan or AC and had to open the windows. However, there was too much late night street noise that disturbed our sleep. We had only booked for one night. But had we booked for longer we would have asked reception to fix the Fan/AC. no kettle or fridge in the room. Room was quite small The bathroom/ toilet was so close to the bed which was onl separated by a glass door Sontag bathroom lacked privacy. The room was serviced very late. Despite putting the 'please service room' tag on the door at 8am, I returned after lunch at 1.30 and room not serviced. The bathroom didn't have any shelves or hooks, or paper holder, so it was difficult with towels etc. Whilst the room very spacious, again little furniture to put things on or sit around with the laptop. Air Con didn't work - but to be fair to the hotel they apologised and compensated us for this. Breakfast was too poor and was lacking native products. There is a strong smell in the hotel coming from the brasserie that is located in the ground floor. There is no smell inside the rooms though. The internet connection is very slow and only one wireless device per room can be connected at a time. Rather late room servicing so if you come back early afternoon, room may not be made up. WiFi signal patchy at times. My single room was without bathtub. rooms a little small. The bathroom partition did not join onto the ceiling ... making it not so private, especially coupled with the frosted glass door. Rubbish had gathered around the outside of the front door, which was not so welcoming. Traffic noise from main road is a nuisance: glazed windows, despite new, are not sound-proof. Not great work space in room if using laptop. "desk" area is narrow. nothing. Rooms are a little bit on the small end of the scale. Fridge and waterboiler would be nice, but we have no complains. Underground Public car park only, but close by. No parking, but public parking practically on the doorstep. Room on the small side. Would have liked tea making facilities. Not much sound insulation between bathroom and bedroom!. would like tea/coffee facilities in room. the room was very small for two people, and the bathroom was not sound-insulated at all. I liked everything. Coffee machine at breakfast. Nothing. Hotel does not have own parking. Better to have the breakfast in the brasserie than in the first floor since there is not much light. Parking missing. We came by car, so parking was somewhat uncomfortable, but the public parking is near the hotel and in Europe parking is scarce, so it was not a big deal, only difficult if you have big suitcases. no english channels on TV.
