Chez Jo has to count as one of our best finds out of very many overnight stays on the way to and from our holiday home in the south. M & Mme Mauger could not have been friendlier nor more welcoming. Our ground floor room was large and comfortable and although our bathroom was separated by the communal area, we had no problem with this as we were assured it was totally dedicated to us and we were given a key. alla recensioner » This place was lush! Amazing cottage for your group in the middle of the French countryside. We are cycling along the Via Francigena and this village was en route for us. The cottage is not luxury type rather a homely place. The owners are most welcoming and even drove us to the nearest restaurant as there is nowhere to dine in the village. Loved the place and the hospitality. Give it a go if you are in that part of the world!. This was in a lovely quiet village, with the river running through and walks in the surrounding hills. I would say this is the original shabby chic. It is amazing value for money, a good bed, lots of space, shared lounge and kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom had a bath which was a welcome change. Also there was a table and chairs outside, overlooking a lovely garden. It is located within 10 km of the motorway to the south and a good stopping place on the way to the Alps. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is provided if you want it but you can make your own as there is a kitchen as well. The small village is very quiet and very pleasant. A very good alternative to a hotel!. This was outstanding value for money. Large rooms with everything you could want for. We only stayed one night but this Gite is set up for longer-term stays in a lovely village -you will need a car. Friendly owners complete the package. The room was part of a Gite and was large. There was also a large shared lounge and kitchen. Parking was off-road and right in front of the house. The garden was pleasant and had garden furniture to sit at. The price was very cheap. A warm welcome from the owners. Accommodation is in a Gite which is in a lovely rural setting. Very clean basic facilities and breakfast. Nice overnight stop off the motorway in a country village setting. Very good value for money. Luxurous and suprisingly spacious accomodation, with all necessary facilities. The welcome was very good the room was very good and the breakfast was good value. Ambience, garden, welcome with somethong to drink, kitchen facilities. we were overwhelmed with the quality and friendliness of the owners. Very comfortable; very clean; convenient for my trip through france. Friendly owners Lovely facilities Quiet rural location. Breakfast was ok but you could just as well do your own as the facilities are there. nothing to see or do in the immediate area. no bad points. We liked everything!!. Rien. Wifi didn't work (but not a massive issue!). can't speak english. although we had a private bathroom we didn't expect to have to walk through the lounge and kitchen to get to this. the lounge and kitchen were of course used by the other guests. this is the reason we have cancelled a further booking for our return home.
