Behind a plain door hides a little gem of a place. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a view of the river. The host spoke perfect English, was very welcoming, and was able to recommend places to eat. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have had in French hotels.
The uniqueness and position of the accommodation perfectly situated on a small river-beautifully decorated.

300 year old house beautifully refurbished in large light airy bedroom and breakfast room with a mix of contemporary and traditional decor.
Very welcoming host.
Very pleasant room, but up narrow wooden stairs with turns at top and bottom; difficult less mobile. Very friendly and helpful host. Excellent breakfast.

The only downside was that the car parking was 50 yards from the hotel. However, it did have security surveillance camera's, so the car was safe to leave.
No one home when we arrived at 4.00pm (opening time indicated on letsbookhotel.com confirmation of booking). Worried they might have closed down!
Would have been helpful if letsbookhotel.com had informed us the opening time had been changed to 5.00pm since we made the initial reservation.
Stairs to the room are a challenge.
Also the front of the house looked like a slum, although the room itself was quite OK.
