The lady of the hotel came out to the street to welcome me and help me to park car and large boat on a trailer in their private yard. The bar was in full swing with local characters solving the worlds problems, and the lady of the hotel was running the bar and the restaurant. The restaurant food was very good. The room was fairly ordinary, but clean and perfectly adequate. I would stay here again.
alla recensioner » Very friendly staff, greeted us by the roadside as we arrived in the car. Very clean room, we had three young children with us and shared a family room which had ample space (two king size double beds) for us as a stop over on our journey back to England,. The facilities were very clean, beds very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend. De owner waited for our arrival until 23.30 in the evening even though normally the reception was closed at 22.00 hours. He even served us some drinks after our arrival. The family room was perfect; 2 large double beds; nice shower / bathroom. Nice breakfast in the morning. The hotel is better than the price would assume. We arrived extremely late at night, but the owner waited up for us and gave us a friendly welcome. Spotlessly clean. Very good shower. Quiet location. Comfortable beds. The restaurant looked good, but we had no time to try it. There were two of us and we were given a big room with two good-sized double beds. The restaurant was just what we needed with an interesting menu and some good wines. A good stopover point. Characterful rooms, authentic French family hotel - felt like we were off the tourist track and it was a great experience. Great food, helpful staff. Really glad we ended up there. The hotel is located in a small village; and deos not look to invite you in when you see it. Never the less it's a gerat location for a stop over on a trip to the south of France. Perhaps a little hard to find without Sat Nav. Would have liked a bit more information on letsbookhotel.com about how to get there, where to park , what hours meals were available and what charge for breakfast. Nothing really. Nothing to mention as such. No nibbles in the bar with our drinks. We were starving after a long day in the car and had to wait until dinner was served to eat anything at all. Basic breakfast, not as expected based upon other reviews. Although the room was very well appointed it was very small and the shower wc was very restrictive .The breakfast was one of the worst we have had at any hotel and was not worth the ammount charged which was a supprise as the previous evenings meal was good value and excelent value. A big party taking place that evening was obviously more important than our needs. The food was very overpriced for what it was. OK if you like traditional rustic france. Breakfast could be improved.
