The residence lies approximately 600 metres from the village centre, 400 metres from the sea and 900 metres from the harbor.
Ile aux Moines is an island which lies in the gulf of Morbihan. It lies approx. 15 km. from Vannes. The car free island has a rocky coast line with several large beached and a few small beached, hidden between the rock formations. It is a very green island with fig trees, eucalyptus, mimosas etc. The gulf of Morbihan is an ecological paradise and classified as a National Park. You can take boat trips from this island to the surroundings islands.
The residence La Voile d'Or lies in a quiet part of the island. The residence was opened in 2003 and is comprised of several adjoining buildings with no more than 1 or 2 floors. The apartments are contemporary. The swimming pool has sun loungers and parasols. It is open from May until September depending on weather.
