This B&B is a restored manor house surrounded by vineyards and sunflower fields, just 3 km from the Canal du Midi, ideal for cycling. It offers romantic bedrooms with French Antique furniture and free WiFi access. All accommodation types feature garden views and some rooms have views of the Pyrenées or the medieval city. A continental breakfast is offered every morning and guests can eat in the garden in warmer weather. Coffee and tea making facilities are available in the dining room, and many restaurants can be found within a 3-minute drive. Carcassonne is a 10 minute drive from the guest house and Narbonne, with its Mediterranean beaches is 40 minutes by car. Free parking is available nearby on the street.

The very best thing about Domaine des Pins is the owner, Sue. She was so friendly, so accommodating and helpful with our "traveler's needs" ! Our room was large and bright, super clean, and comfortable. The bath was giant, with a fantastic shower full of jets. And we could just see the magnificent castle at Carcassone from our window! Sue gave us a wonderful early breakfast at 7:30 so we could see the castle before we had to get on our way to Marseille. TIP: Go to Carcassone BEFORE the crowds.
alla recensioner » Beautiful and comfortable home in very old French village very near Trebes and Carcassonne (with its Unesco designated castle and old city) on the Canal du Midi. Sue and Nick very friendly and helpful hosts. Between them, they are fluent in English, French, Dutch and German. Lovely accommodation with garden, child-friendly, in ancient village of Bouilhonnac, 5-minute drive or short bike-ride to Trebes on country roads. We would definitely stay again at Domaine des Pins. What a delightful stop. A lovely house where we were made so welcome by Sue, who conjured up a cold bottle of rose for us when we arrived and of course Eddie the Beagle, who adopted us for the stay! Lovely accommodation in nice countryside. This is a lovely place to stop and we would certainly like to visit again. This was a fantastic place to stay. Lovely old house full of style and character. The host is a lovely family with a likeable dog. We were made very welcome. Beautiful old house, with very friendly hostess. The rooms were large and airy, with beautiful views. We will stay there again. The owners are very kind and helpful. The dining room is nice decorated. The diner in the garden was very pleasant. Beautiful home and garden. We enjoyed chatting with Nick and Sue. A quirky setting run by two friendly and helpful people. Domaine des Pins was difficult to find! We did not have gps and we finally had to get out of the car and walk to find the place. Sue will give you great directions if you ask. We were not as impressed with the town of Bouilhonnac. It was a bit grubby but between the river and the canal there were restaurants and everyone was friendly. We had a little difficulty finding the Rue des Pins in Bouilhonnac itself, because of its hilly site and very narrow old roads -- part of the charm and lovely but worth downloading a local map ahead of time. We had to leave. No shampoo or shower gel (backpackers don't like to carry extra items). A good climb up to the hotel from the road below, but the views are worth it. Not the easiest place to find, it would be well served by better signage.
