The location is close to those tourism spots. If you stay long in Avignon, it is highly recommended, otherwise it would be a bit far from train station. We took with heavy luggages and good for us to live in 1/F studio ( no lift here). The equipped kitchenette is good! The home design is neat, warm and new! The toilet is not very small, with big mirror, but with cloth hook would be perfect. The owner is very very nice with advices to nearby tourism and restaurants! The owner will send their h.
alla recensioner » One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in- and I have stayed in many! The room we stayed in for 3 nights was charming- fabulous original art on the walls- and the kitchen-in a -cupboard was wonderfully well equipped. The shower was large and easy to use. The host was absolutely charming. In our room there were a couple of columns from the original monastery, which just added to the charm of the ambience. This place is a real gem!. Very nice freshly renovated apartments within the city walls of Avignon. friendly and helpful owners - Sabine and Patrick. Free shuttle bus from a big free parking. Shops nearby, including one with organic vegetables. I had a self-chattering appartment and enjoyed cooking my breakfast and dinner. All major attractions within walking distance. The owners - Sabine & Patrick Eouagnignon were extremely polite and helpful ! The hotel is all new , clean and the idea of looking like old monastery is nice!Location is perfect - 5 min walk from city center. I liked the simplicity of the facilities. It was ideal for one. I thought the equipment provided for cooking was well thought out. It was nice looking onto the courtyard and having a table and chairs there. Just one thing - too much noise coming from the room on the next floor. I was unhappy about the socket for the electric kettle being above the sink and on the other side of any flat surface for the kettle. could do with extra lighting in the main room for reading/relaxing at night. Nothing. Small recommendation: to add a hair dryer to the amenities. Difficult to find at night while driving. Hotel name is on grey wall with no lights. City parking in 5 mins (~10 Eur per night) can be full, then will be a real trouble. Poor soundproofing between rooms; people walking upstairs are easily heard. This is quite annoying. Toilet is separated from bathroom across the room. Hotel personnel is very friendly but only available during the working hours 09:00-17:00. Problem with parking nearby. That we could not use our room's air conditioner for cooling [this was due to management's decision ]---misleading advertising? that the kitchen had two pots but not a fry pan.
