Friendly and helpful staff. Relaxing and neat hotel. Budget friendly and in a nice area of town which is quite centered to other areas that can be reached by bus or taxi. Additionally, there is a taxi company next door who can be helpful at taking you anywhere or simply to give you directions to a place.
The restaurants and nightlife are about two to three blocks away, and this can be a burden on rainy nights.The travelers sleeping in are usually travelers who are on bound from the Tica Bus which has tour trips, so this is not usually a place to meet and befriend other travelers.
