Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

The location and price are excellent. The buffet breakfast was very generous with the selection,staff was very nice and it's possible to park up to 3 cars in front of the pension, so it is convenient to have you car parked right on the spot as most places in Krumlov do not have parking and you have to walk to your hotel with your luggage.

The pension was extremely accessible for the centre of Cesky Krumlov - great given we have young children. Parking there was not a problem. The wireless internet worked perfectly in my room, which was also warm (I opened the window overnight to let some cool air in). Breakfast was fantastic - a dazzling array of yoghurts, meats, cheeses and breads

Very nice, beautiful, romantic, homelike and clean penzion, with a lot of nice, old style decoration. The staff is very nice, we can understand each other in English. It is not in the crowded centre but it takes only 5-10 minutes walking to the centre. We could choose from 3 rooms when we arrive. The breakfast was very plenty, varied and delicious.

Everything! We had the 4 first floor rooms in the old house, wow, every room was full of vintage items and antiquities of all sorts, access to the garden too which would have been lovely if the weather had been kinder. The owner, Vincent, was there to help us check in and show us the
layout. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice beds and showers. The
breakfast was generous with great fruits and local pastries. And he has
on-site ample parking that was free. And best of all the location - it
is just outside the main entrance to the city. Helps to have a gps, but
it could not find the street number for some reason. I highly recommend
this hotel.

Location, location, location next to Castle and center of town. Large spacious room two windows overlooking street and castle. Kitchen a plus. Very picturesque; wood floor and ceiling and period furniture. Window have great views, overlooks the square can be noisy, but worth watching passing scenery. -

Lovely pension in a good location for old town. It is possible to walk to the old town / castle in about 15 minutes. Friendly owners who are very helpful. English is spoken. Really enjoyed our stay. Peter and Daniela were wonderful. They helped us out with restaurant tips and events currently happening in town.
Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices. We plan to return with our son and will definitely stay again at Penzion Onyx.

We were very happy with Penzion Svet. The rooms were bright, clean and very comfortable. The view from our windows was beautiful because you could see a picturesque view of the old city. We were on the top floor. The pension is located right down town in the pedestrain zone with a clear view of Krumlov castle out of the window. It is an excellent apartment in a great location. The restaurant Mastal nearby is excellent. Parking is offered about 5 min walk from the apartment with a voucher for a public parking lot. -

The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.
