  This was a great hotel. Very modern with good facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room we had was very clean, in fact the whole hotel was spotless, and a good size with great shower room and good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The bed was very comfortable. The facilities in the hotel were also very good. A very good a la carte resta... vad folk säger » urant (it also had a buffet restaurant but we didn't try it apart from breakfast which was good), a comfortable bar and plenty of outside seating for - Architecturally and as measured by position views etc. this is a gem. In the case of the experience at the hotel we were not let down. Staff were excellent, always helpful and friendly. Facilities were great; wonderful outdoor pool with towels provided and poolside service . Excellent breakfasts individually made if required.   Staff were amazing. I spent two nights at the Authentic Luxury in Split. The staff took the time to share the history of their home and were very helpful. Staff took great pride in their facilities. Staff are nice and helpful. The room is clean, tidy and comfortable. It seems that it had been renovated recently. The price is reasonable for such good quality. I would choose it again if I go there again.

  Great staff, lovely rooms with parquet floors, what looked like New bathrooms (spa showers) good breakfast with plenty of choice, excellent location five minutes from the centre of split. - Very friendly staff, good location, quiet rooms (on the courtyard side at least).

  Bra service - Comfort, clean big modern rooms - Rooms were wonderful, comfy bed, huge bathroom, and breakfast was great. Location was reasonably good (5 min walk to market, 10 mins walk to downtown).

  Grisogono Palace was hands down the nicest place I have ever stayed. The location literally could not be better. It is part of the main square of Diocletian's Palace, so right in the middle of wonderful Split. The ceilings are the original 13th century wooden ceilings and quite stunning. They drove with us in our rental car show us the best and cheap - Very central location, lively atmosphere outside in the Peristil, friendly and helpful owners, really clean and well maintained apartment, free internet, lots of space, big comfortable bed, aircon in lounge and bedroom, the beautiful original painted wooden ceiling and old glass windows give the apartment a lovely character. Mrs Katja told us a week in Croatia was not long enough - she was right!
